where is waldo? Posted by Picasa

Here I am!!!! Can you see my computer? I hadn't been able to, but I finally put the sewing machine away, organized all of my crap and voila..... there it is!! An here I am!
As usual, I've been busy, and truth be told, needing a break from knitting, so I've been doing other stuff. Sewing, cooking, organizing, and bit of plumbing; see below...

My latest finished piece...Branching Out from Knitty
(check the archives!). It's in a lovely alpaca from Classic Elite, although a bit itchy.
I am still working on Wild Stripes and need to hunker down with it so it's ready before its recipient is born!
I'll be back soon!

I did it myself Posted by Picasa

I put this wonderful new faucet in myself! I downloaded directions from the DIY network, made 2 trips to Lowes, called my brother for moral support, and after a lot of swearing and fogged-up safety glasses, I DID IT!!
